What's this, a write-up? HOLY CHRIST PEOPLE! BATTON DOWN THE HATCHES, STOW AWAY YOUR DAUGHTERS, STOW AWAY YOUR ILLICIT SUBSTANCES, STOP FLOGGING THE NEIGHBORS' CHILDREN, PAY HOMAGE TO YUL BRENNER, ETC, WE ARE BACK! And stuff. But before we get to the mixage, we gots some catching up to do!
For one thing, ThaSauce, and therefore by proxy or something, ReMix:ThaSauce, has recently changed hosting. You remember that big fangled Final Fantasy VII project that was released a few weeks ago? Well we were kind enough to lend a hand in mirroring it. Then BAM. FANBOYS OUT THE ASS from 26 different nations (but mostly Japan) STOLED OUR MEGAHURTS. Seriously our bandwidth was robbed by rabid asian halflings who hunger for anything and everything Final Fantasy. As a result, our shit was HOSED, man! IT WAS HOSED! We had to literally shut down for a while there. But herograw came to the rescue, and offered to host our site on his vast and endless webspace. It's like the universe of the internets. Only bigger, because it's made of stuff (stuff expands, it's science).
Also! Just recently we passed the 100 remix mark! Isn't that awesome? Fantastic? Spectacular? Amazing? Awesome? I think we already said awesome. Hmm. In any case, we're like, the shit now. Seriously, don't be surprised when it becomes remix.thashit.net or something. UNF!
Now down to business. You see, Scott Porter is a personal hero of ours. He's like, some kind of god of noise and rupturing eardrums. And possibly otitis media majoris. Kind of like Merzbow, only fatter and less eye-slanty (relatively same amount of KAWAIIIII though). But that's not important. What's important, is Scott is. We have no time for this. Where are we? Wha-oh ok here's the thing. He made this remix entirely out of recordings of Xerol Oplan making noise in his sleep. Seriously. It's true. They're good friends and
